The Conference Secretariat and Organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
Participants are warmly advised to take personal congress insurance.

Photography and video material

Pictures and videos taken at the 40th EPOS Annual Meeting could be reproduced in EPOS news or promotional material, whether in print, electronic or other media, including social media and the EPOS website. EPOS reserves the right to crop, splice, treat and edit any imagery or photographs taken at the EPOS events. The participant waives the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy. Naturally, participants always have the right for their picture to be removed. Should you wish to have your picture or video removed, please let us know and we will take action accordingly

Barcode/QR code scanning

Participants could be asked by staff from industries at exhibit booths and sponsored symposia to provide their personal contact data through barcode/ QR code scanning. In this way, information about name, surname, country, and e-mail address will be provided to companies on an individual, voluntary basis. Please do not allow scanning of your badge by industry representatives without your direct consent.

Insurance/Liability

EPOS cannot be held liable for any personal injuries of for the loss or damage to property incurred by participants or guests to the PreCourse Meeting, including those participating in tours and/or in social events. Participants and guests are encouraged to take out insurance to cover losses incurred in the event of cancellation, medical expenses or damages to or loss of personal effects when traveling outside of their own Country. EPOS cannot be held liable for any hindrance or disruptions of the Meeting arising from natural, political, social or economic events or other unforeseen incidents beyond its control. Registration of a participant implies acceptance of this condition.
