Based on our mission and objective to enhance the care of children and advance all aspects of Children’s Orthopedics, particularly in the fields of clinical practice, scientific research and education, and in the view of the current conflicts, we believe that humanitarian relief is urgently needed.

To alleviate a bit the current and global children refugee crisis, is with great pleasure that EPOS announces the charity run event, to take place during its 40th Annual meeting, on Saturday, 9 April at 06:00am at Magnussons Gade 2, 1577 København, Danmark.

This event will be dedicated to all children refugees in the world and the funds collected will go to Terre des Hommes, Lausanne, Switzerland (https://www.tdh.ch/en) to support their migration program.

Terre des hommes is founded in 1960, as an independent, neutral, and impartial Swiss organization, committed to bringing meaningful and lasting change to the lives of children and youth, especially to those most exposed to risks. Migration is at the heart of Tdh’s programs, which are devoted to creating long-lasting changes in children’s lives. As well, Terre des hommes, strive to improve childrens’ well-being and ensure the effective application of their rights as defined by the Convention on the Rights of the Child and other relevant human rights instruments.

Terre des hommes works in fragile and conflict settings, as well as in stable environments. In 2020, they supported 4.8 million children and members of their communities in 35 countries.
